Baylor's Jalen Hurd: Transferring to Baylor

Hurd announced Saturday that he will transfer to Baylor, John Werner of the Waco Tribune reports.

Analysis:

The former Tennessee Volunteer will head to Waco to finish off his collegiate career. When he announced in October that he'd be transferring from Tennessee, he also noted that he was planning on a position change to either wide receiver or tight end. Baylor's offense will have a new look to it this year under a new coaching staff, so it's possible that tight ends will be more incorporated into the system. That said, the 6-4 Hurd showed the athleticism to possibly make a switch to receiver. Either way, Baylor is picking up a talented player who can make an immediate impact upon his arrival in Waco.
