Alabama's Jerry Jeudy: Earns MVP Honors at spring game

Jeudy had a stellar debut in Alabama's spring game, Marq Burnett of SEC Country reports.

Analysis:

The true freshman lived up to his hype as one of the best receivers in his recruiting class by putting on a show Saturday. According to Stephen M. Smith of TD Alabama, Jeudy reeled in four receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Coach Nick Saban said after the game that "[Alabama] needs young players like Jeudy to come through at wide receiver for us. It's not a position where we have a lot of depth," according to Burnett. Calvin Ridley, Robert Foster, and Cam Sims all still have an edge on Jeudy for playing time, but Jeudy can certainly earn his way onto the field if he continues on his current trajectory.
