Michigan's Eddie McDoom: Carted off during spring game

McDoom was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury in Saturday's spring game, Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com reports.

Analysis:

The rising sophomore appeared to suffer the injury on a long completion to set up first-and-goal. He was carted off and there are reports that his left cleat was removed on the way to the locker room. With Amara Darboh and Jehu Chesson both bound for the NFL, McDoom is projected to be a major piece of the Michigan receiving corps. If his injury proves significant, however, it will certainly be a major blow to Michigan's depth at that position.
