UCLA's Josh Rosen: Ready for start of spring practice

Rosen (shoulder) participated in UCLA's first spring practice Tuesday, Thuc Nhi Nguyen of the Orange county Register reports.

Analysis:

UCLA's star quarterback appears to be ready to take back the reins of the Bruin offense after missing the final six games of the season with a shoulder injury that required surgery. Rosen had been struggling by his standards prior to his injury as well, completing 59.3 percent of his passes for 1,915 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions in six starts. Now that Rosen appears to be fully recovered, look for him to start rebuilding his case to be considered the top quarterback in the Pac-12. However, he'll need his supporting cast to take a major step forward in order for UCLA to compete with USC and Sam Darnold for the Pac-12 South crown.
