Auburn's Kyle Davis: Remains absent from spring practice

Davis (personal) has yet to return to practice this spring, Justin Ferguson of the AJC's SEC Country Blog reports.

Analysis:

Coach Gus Malzahn told reporters before spring practice got underway that Davis would be missing some time to tend to some "personal business," but he did add that he expected Davis to be back after spring break. With Auburn back in session, Davis' absence from Tuesday's session is noteworthy. There is still no word on when Davis will be ready to get back on the practice field, but Auburn does have seven more full practice sessions before its spring game.
