Report: Oregon tabs Oklahoma State assistant Arroyo as co-OC

Scott Olmos / Reuters

Oregon will have co-offensive coordinators in 2017 after all, as the Ducks have reportedly hired Marcus Arroyo away from Oklahoma State for the role.

Arroyo will officially be named Oregon's passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, a source told Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, and he'll serve as the co-coordinator next to Mario Cristobal.

Oregon was set to have co-offensive coordinators until David Reaves was arrested for DUI, and subsequently fired.

The Ducks will open the 2017 campaign under new head coach Willie Taggart against Southern Utah on Sept. 2.
