Hamsah Nasirildeen will be a Seminole rather than a Gamecock.

The four-star athlete announced Sunday night that he would be decommitting from South Carolina and instead pledging himself to Florida State. Nasirildeen originally committed to the Gamecocks in August of 2016.

"After discussions with my family and much prayer I have decided it is in my best interest to decommit from the University of South Carolina," Nasirildeen said in his Twitter statement. "I want to thank Coach Muschamp and Coach Bentley for the opportunity. I wish you nothing but success in the coming years."

Nasirildeen currently sits as the 192nd rated prospect on the ESPN 300, as well as the No. 11 athlete in the nation.
