Arkansas' Tevin Beanum will not return to team in 2017

Tevin Beanum has likely played his last down at Arkansas.

The defensive lineman has made the decision to step away from the team, head coach Bret Bielema announced Saturday, according to Jason Kersey of SEC Country.

After beginning the 2016 season away from the team due to a personal situation, Beanum went on to appear in 10 games for the Razorbacks, recording 21 tackles.

A reason was not immediately given for Beanum's departure and it's unclear whether he will be seeking a transfer to another program.
