Baylor's Anu Solomon: Transfers to Baylor
Solomon will transfer to Baylor, Adam Grosbard of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:
Solomon is a graduate transfer, so he should be eligible to play right away with Baylor. He's slated to compete with sophomore Zach Smith and incoming freshman Charlie Brewer for rights to the starting job, so we should see a competition for that role as soon as spring practice rolls around. Solomon opened last season as Arizona's starting quarterback, but he ended up suffering a foot injury, which eventually pushed him into a bench role behind Brandon Dawkins. Solomon finished the 2016 campaign completing 37-of-63 passes for 462 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
