Texas A&M's Trevor Knight: "Absolutely" playing in bowl game

Knight said Tuesday that he will "absolutely" be playing in the Aggies' upcoming bowl game against Kansas State, Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Knight missed two games late in the season due to a shoulder injury and he struggled with his accuracy in the Aggies' loss to LSU (14-30, 211 yards). However, the time off between games has allowed Knight to get his shoulder closer to full strength for his upcoming bowl game. Barring an unforeseen setback during bowl practice, Knight figures to be Texas A&M's starter against Kansas State.
