Saturday marked the end of an era in college football, as veteran CBS broadcaster Verne Lundquist, or Uncle Verne as he's affectionately known, signed off after the Army-Navy game for the last time in a 34-year career.

The 76-year-old has been the voice of the SEC on CBS for the past 17 seasons, and has called many of college football's biggest moments, including the iconic "Kick-6" from the 2013 Iron Bowl.

While it's the end of his college football broadcasting career, Lundquist will continue with his duties in the 16th tower at Augusta National for the Masters each April.
