Harbaugh finally shows for Orange Bowl teleconference call

Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

Michigan was left out of the College Football Playoff, but received an invitation to the Orange Bowl and a matchup with Florida State.

Standard protocol is for both coaches to have a have a teleconference call with the media and field questions about their opponent. Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher fulfilled his duty early Sunday, and spoke at length about the Wolverines.

Jim Harbaugh was absent for the initial call due to traveling, but made the second teleconference call. Harbaugh touched on many topics, as he hasn't spoken with the media since the school was fined for his post-game rant following the loss to Ohio State, but opened with vital information.

The Michigan coach was quite harsh of the officiating the last time he spoke, and was asked about it again on Sunday.

"I guess we can call it we see it differently and leave it at that," said Harbaugh.
