Iowa's Riley McCarron: Strong season finale

McCarron caught all five of his targets for 108 yards and a touchdown in Friday's win over Nebraska.

Analysis:

McCarron ripped through the Nebraska defense for a 77-yard score Friday to extend the Hawkeyes' lead to 13 points in the first quarter. Matt VandeBerg's injury in the middle of the season allowed McCarron to take over as the Hawkeyes' top receiving option and he took advantage of the opportunity. He finished the year with career-highs in receptions (41) yards (506) and touchdowns (4).
