Pitt will be without its leading tackler, safety Jordan Whitehead, for the rest of the regular season, head coach Pat Narduzzi confirmed, as reported by Jerry DiPaola of the Trib Live.

“Probably no secret that he wasn't going to walk back out this weekend," Narduzzi said. "He'll be fine. We hope to have him back for a bowl game.”

Whitehead was carted off the field in the Panthers' upset victory over then No. 2 Clemson with an apparent broken arm.
