Saban gives Alabama 'ass-chewing' over Scarbrough's TD celebration

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

You can always count on Nick Saban for an entertaining quote, and the Alabama coach didn't disappoint on Wednesday night.

The top-ranked Crimson Tide hammered Tennessee 49-10 last weekend, but the 64-year-old was still upset over star running back Bo Scarbrough's touchdown celebration.

"I talked to the team about it," Saban said according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News. "I don't know if you'd call it talking or an ass-chewing."

Scarbrough faked a high-five with a Volunteers fan in the end zone, following his 85-yard touchdown run that put the Crimson Tide up 39 points in the fourth quarter.

It's probably safe to assume you won't see the same type of celebration - no matter how many times Alabama reaches the end zone - on Saturday against No. 6 Texas A&M.
