UCLA's Josh Rosen: Sits out loss to Washington State

Rosen remained on the sidelines for Saturday's 27-21 loss to Washington State as the result of injuries sustained in last week's defeat at Arizona State, The Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Rosen missed the first game of his collegiate career on Saturday night as the result of leg and throwing shoulder injuries sustained in a loss to Arizona State last week. Both the sophomore and back up Mike Fafaul took the field for warmups at Martin Stadium, but it was the latter that started against Washington State after UCLA's incumbent under center was seen wincing with pain following a few pregame throws to receiver Jordan Lashley. No word yet as to whether Rosen will be available next week for a home tilt with Utah. If not, fantasy owners can expect to find Fafaul, who threw for 258 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions against the Cougars, making his second start in as many weeks for the Bruins.
