ACC officially moves championship game to Orlando

Rich Barnes / USA TODAY Sports

The ACC officially announced Thursday it has moved this season's championship game to Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

The game was initially scheduled to take place in North Carolina, but conference officials voted to relocate it amid concerns about the state's controversial HB2 bathroom bill.

The ACC championship was last played in Florida in 2009, when it was hosted by Tampa.

News of the relocation was first reported Tuesday.
