Miles 'can't imagine' he won't return to coaching

Les Miles will have some time to ponder his next move after being fired by LSU on Sunday, though he appears to already have an idea of what he wants to do.

The former Tigers head coach seems to be intent on returning to the sidelines in some form or fashion, as he explained Monday on The Dan Patrick Show.

"I don’t golf. I play no tennis. I enjoy shooting the gun, but I don’t necessarily like to point it at animals," Miles said. "I play cards not very well. What I have done for probably 12-14 hours a day for the last number of years is coach football. I would have a difficult time not being involved in the game and being a coach."

Miles is always a good interview, so many feel he would also be a natural on television, but at 62, he doesn't seem to be ready to give up on coaching just yet.

"I think I know not coaching, there’s always a Plan C out there." Miles said. "I have a daughter and a son in college. One at Texas and one at UNC. I could certainly go find those games on the weekend. I have a young son who is committed currently to a Big Ten team (Nebraska). I think I could find something to do. I enjoy football. I can’t imagine I won’t be involved in some way."
