UCLA's Soso Jamabo: Did not suit up against BYU

Jamabo did not suit up for Saturday's 17-14 road win over Brigham Young, the Daily Bruin reports.

Analysis:

When asked why Jamabo did not suit up against Brigham Young, head coach Jim Mora would only say, "We didn't play him." UCLA's ground attack suffered as the result of the sophomore running back's absence, combining for just 50 total yards, with junior Nate Starks leading the way (15 carries totaling 39 yards). No word yet as to whether or not Jamabo will be available for the Bruins in a critical conference-opener against Stanford this coming Saturday. Should he remained sidelined for a second-straight game, fantasy owners should expect to find Starks pegged with the task of spearheading UCLA's run game versus the Cardinal.
