Hundreds send donations to fan after asking for beer money on 'GameDay'

The signs during ESPN's "College GameDay" tend to steal the show and this Saturday was no exception, but one fan took the tradition to a whole new level.

With "GameDay" taking place at Bristol Motor Speedway, one particular fan decided to use the occasion to try and get a little extra beer money from home and his move is paying off in a big way.

The number of donations to the fan's Venmo account is well over 500, with more pouring in every minute. The minimum amount you can send is just one cent, so he's not necessarily rolling in cash, but with the sheer volume of donations at this point it's pretty safe to say he's not going to have to worry about beer money for at least another week.
