Ohio State lands 4-star receivers Trevon Grimes, Tyjon Lindsey

Ohio State added to its receiving corps depth in a big way Monday, securing a pair of quality wideouts from the 2017 recruiting class.

Trevon Grimes and Tyjon Lindsey, both four-star recruits, committed to the Buckeyes. Grimes is ranked 27th on the ESPN 300, while Lindsey sits 76th.

The pair gives Urban Meyer and Co. eight players ranked in the top 100 for 2017, and Grimes makes it seven in the top 50.

Grimes, a Florida native, is also ranked the fourth-best wideout in the class, and was pursued by Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State, among others. Lindsey passed on offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, and several other Power 5 schools.
