Ohio State's Mike Weber: Participates in full contact scrimmage

Weber (knee) participated in Saturday's scrimmage without a non-contact jersey, Bill Landis of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

The presumptive starting running back for the Buckeyes redshirted last season due in part to a torn meniscus, but he looked healthy in Saturday's scrimmage. Ohio State released a video of the scrimmage that included clips of Weber carrying the ball without a non-contact jersey. With that, Weber's knee looks to be healthy and he ran on it with full confidence in the scrimmage. Now that Bri'onte Dunn is out of the picture for the Buckeyes, Weber has a legitimate shot to be a true bell cow in his first active season.
