Indiana's J-Shun Harris II out for season with ACL injury

Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson received some bad news Monday morning, when it was announced that receiver J-Shun Harris II will miss the upcoming season with an ACL tear, according to Zach Osterman of indystar.com.

Harris missed the entire 2015 season, when he tore his ACL in his other knee. The 5-foot-8, 170 pound speedster was expected to be a key piece in the Hoosiers' receiving corps.

In 2014 as a frehsman, Harris caught 18 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns.

Indiana opens its season Sept. 1st against FIU.
