Lou Holtz gives his opinion on immigration at RNC

Legendary Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz made some topical remarks on immigration while attending the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

"I don’t want to become you. I don’t want to speak your language, I don’t want to celebrate your holidays, I sure as hell don’t want to cheer for your soccer team," Holtz said at a luncheon to honor Phyllis Schlafly, according to Betsy Woodruff of The Daily Beast.

Holtz announced his endorsement of Donald Trump back in early May and gave the reason as to why he's in favor of Trump: "The main reason I'm endorsing him: I've played his golf course and I've stayed in his hotel."

Holtz worked at ESPN as a college football analyst beginning in 2005 before leaving the network in 2015. He's also the last coach to lead Notre Dame to a national title, back in 1988.
