Mississippi State's Fred Ross: Recovering well from off season groin surgery

Ross is able to run again, after receiving off season surgery to repair a groin injury, David Caraviello of the Post and Courier reports.

Analysis:

Ross said that the injury was nagging him last season but was able to play through it. Last season, Ross was the team's top receiver, with 88 catches for 1007 yards and five touchdowns. He should be fully ready by the Bulldogs' first game, but it remains to be seen how productive he will be without former quarterback Dak Prescott calling plays.
