Oregon added four-star tight end Tre' McKitty to its 2017 class Sunday.

McKitty chose the Ducks over offers from Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, and USC, among others.

"Thank you all the people who have helped me and been there for me in this process, you are all appreciated. Thank you to those who doubted me because you made me better," McKitty tweeted. He added, "I would also like to thank all of the coaches who have recruited me in the process, it has been a great ride. After talk with my family and close friends I have decided to officially commit to the University of Oregon."

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end was ranked sixth at his position in the country and the 40th-best prospect in Florida.

McKitty is the fifth four-star commitment to the Ducks' 2017 class.
