Notre Dame reels in commitment from 4-star athlete CJ Holmes

CJ Holmes made sure he was not going to be the one that got away from Notre Dame.

The six-foot, 200-pound four-star athlete announced his commitment to the Fighting Irish on Friday by fishing a leprechaun from a lake. Rub your eyes all you want, you read that correctly.

Holmes conjured up a very creative video to express his desire to play for Brian Kelly, as he had some fun in the sun with friends while waiting for the perfect catch, turning away both Alabama and Tennessee memorabilia.

The Cheshire, Conn., native was ranked 283rd on the ESPN 300.
