Auburn's Tyler Queen: Underwent successful surgery Tuesday

Queen (shoulder) expects to be ready for fall camp after undergoing successful surgery on his shoulder Tuesday, Brandon Marcello of SECcountry.com reports.

Analysis:

Queen, a redshirt freshman for the Tigers, had surgery Tuesday to repair the AC joint in his right shoulder. Queen missed the entire 2015 season because of an elbow injury that required surgery as well, so once back, it should be his first real opportunity to get in work with the team. Coach Gus Malzahn said that he expects him "to recover fully and hopefully be back by fall camp", so look for further updates regarding his injury once camp nears. Queen is not expected to be a factor in the starting quarterback competition even when back to full health.
