You can't go wrong with either, but Nick Saban's coaching run at Alabama is slightly more impressive than Paul "Bear" Bryant's, according to former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden, a legend in his own right.

"I'd say probably what Nick Saban is doing (is more impressive) because football is more balanced now," Bowden said on WNSP-FM 105.5 in Mobile, according to Mark Heim of AL.com. "I think when coach Bryant came to Alabama in 1958, I think it was unlimited recruiting. You could sign all the kids you wanted, and he's gonna get most of them.

"There was an old saying back in those days, 'He's gonna get his and he's gonna get yours.'"

Bryant spent 24 of his 37 seasons at Alabama, crafting a Hall of Fame resume and establishing himself as, arguably, the greatest college coach to ever live. But along came Saban, who in his nine seasons at Alabama has also built a resume for the ages.

Resumes at Alabama:

National titles SEC titles Record Winning percentage Seasons
Bryant 6 13 232-46-9 80.8 25
Saban 4 4 100-18 84.7 9

Moral of the story: there is no wrong answer.
