VIDEO: Duke's Allen caught tripping opponent again

Duke guard Grayson Allen appears to have reverted to an old habit of tripping his opponents.

As the Blue Devils neared the finish line Thursday of an 80-65 victory over Florida State, Allen appeared to stick his leg out to trip a running Xavier Rathan-Mayes.

"It was really nothing," Allen said postgame of the incident.

However, the feisty guard acknowledged his tendency to play with emotion, which has led to multiple controversies in his short collegiate career.

"There are a lot of times where I let that out, but I think I'd have a few more technicals if I wasn't controlling it well," he said.

Added the sophomore: "I can't really shut it off, whether it's 15 seconds into the game or 15 seconds left."

Earlier this month, Allen was caught tripping a Louisville player and was slapped with a flagrant foul. This time, he was assessed with nothing.
