Five-star shooting guard Terrance Ferguson announced his commitment to Alabama, according to Rivals.
Ferguson, ranked 14th on ESPN's 2016 prospects, picked the Crimson Tide over Kansas, UNC, and Louisville.
A native of Dallas, he's the first five-star player to commit to Alabama since Devonta Pollard in 2012.
Alabama, predominantly known as a football institution, is making waves on the basketball scene ever since it named Avery Johnson its new head coach.
