Kansas' Carlton Bragg breaks nose at team practice in South Korea

Kansas freshman Carlton Bragg suffered a broken nose during a team practice Wednesday morning in Gwangju, South Korea, where the school is representing the United States at the World University Games.

It is not immediately clear how long the four-star power forward will be out of the lineup.

"Hopefully he won't miss very much. A turned ankle is a worse injury than a broken nose," head coach Bill Self said in a statement, according to Rob Dauster of NBC Sports. "Although the broken nose hurts bad, and there were no concussion symptoms, it's one that you can come back."

Bragg, he said, "should be fine," but would have to wait until the team returned home to have surgery and "straighten it up."

Self also said it would be "nice to find a mask" for Bragg, but doubted they'll be able to do so.
