VCU transfer Terry Larrier will transfer to UConn to join Kevin Ollie and the Huskies, he told Evan Daniels of Scout.

"My relationship with Kevin Ollie," Larrier said as to why he chose the Huskies. "He recruited me in high school and our relationship is real good.

"He's just a good dude. He's a stand up dude. We talk all the time. I think he's done a (good) job with the UConn program. I'm excited to go to UConn."

As a freshman, the forward averaged 6.6 points in 18.5 minutes. He came to Richmond as a four-star member of the recruiting class of 2014, and was ranked as the 43rd overall prospect in the class by ESPN.
