Louisville transfer Shaqquan Aaron has chosen to take his talents to the West Coast and join USC, he informed Evan Daniels of Scout on Tuesday.

"First I want to thank Rick Pitino," Aaron said. "I learned a lot from him and being a Hall of Fame coach and I want to thank him for the opportunity he gave me and the fans at (Louisville), but I decided to go to USC and continue my college career there and bring USC back on the winning track."

Aaron arrived in Louisville as a four-star recruit, ranked No. 33 overall in the class of 2014 by ESPN and No. 27 overall by Scout.

He was limited to 7.2 minutes per game in 23 contests while with the Cardinals.

When asked why he chose to become a Trojan, Aaron first pointed to USC head coach Andy Enfield.

“Coach Enfield and just playing for him and knowing some of the players on the team and just it’s a great situation for me,” Aaron said. “It’s the best situation for me.”
