Report: Providence's leading scorer Bullock returning for senior season

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports /

Providence will have its leading scorer back in the fold for one more ride, as sources told Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports that Rodney Bullock will pull out of the 2017 NBA Draft and return for his senior season.

Bullock, who declared for the draft without an agent last month, led the Friars with 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest in his junior campaign, helping to fill the void left by Ben Bentil's early move to the NBA prior to last season.

His return should help a young Friars outfit that could be a major contender in the Big East Conference next season.
