Texas' Jarrett Allen: Signs with agent, officially headed to NBA Draft

Allen, who had previously declared for the 2017 NBA Draft, has opted to sign with an agent, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.

Analysis:

For the last two weeks it seemed as if there was a chance Allen could return for his sophomore season in Austin, but after deciding to sign with an agent, that is no longer a possibility. In his freshman campaign, Allen led the Longhorns with 8.4 RPG. His length (6-11 with a wingspan reported over 7-0) and athleticism make him an interesting name to watch in the leadup to the draft.
