UMass is in the market for a new head coach, as the Minutemen have fired Derek Kellogg after nine seasons, athletic director Ryan Bamford announced.

Kellogg guided the program to a 15-18 record this year, but an ugly 4-14 mark in the Atlantic 10 placed it third-last in the conference standings.

Kellogg leaves the Minutemen with a 155-137 career record. The 43-year-old guided UMass to one NCAA tournament appearance, which resulted in a first-round exit in 2013-14.
