Marshall assistant coach Chris Duhon has resigned, effective immediately, the school announced Wednesday.

Duhon's departure from the program comes three days after he was suspended for his second arrest within the last two years. The former NBA guard was jailed briefly for driving with a revoked license. He was arrested on a DUI charge in 2015.

Duhon joined the Thundering Herd's coaching staff in 2014, following a nine-year career in the NBA.

The 34-year-old played at Duke from 2000-04, and helped the Blue Devils capture the national championship at the end of the 2000-01 season.
