Texas' Kendal Yancy: Not expected to play Tuesday

Coach Shaka Smart said that he does not expect Yancy (ankle) to play Tuesday against Baylor, Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman reports.

Analysis:

Yancy has been out since Texas' second game of conference play due to an ankle injury and Smart's comments from Monday suggest that he'll miss at least one more game. Freshman Jacob Young stepped into the starting rotation in his place Saturday after Andrew Jones had started the previous three contests. Provided that Yancy will miss Tuesday's game, Young and Jones should see the bulk of the minutes at shooting guard as the Longhorns look to pull off the upset over No.6 team in the nation.
