Duke's Chase Jeter: Limited impact in return

Jeter (back) had one point (0-2 FG, 1-2 FT), two blocks, and a steal over 25 minutes in Tuesday's loss to Florida State.

Analysis:

Jeter had missed the last two games with a back injury but was able to play heavy minutes off the bench against the Seminoles. Amile Jefferson's absence led the Blue Devils to start Jayson Tatum and Harry Giles up front, but it's clear that Duke is still hesitant to give Giles heavy minutes as the talented freshman saw just 10 minutes on the floor. If Jefferson has to miss additional time, Jeter could continue to see a solid chunk of minutes off the bench.
