Michigan State's Kenny Goins: Returns from ankle injury Saturday

Goins (ankle) was able to return to Saturday's game against Penn State.

Analysis:

The junior guard had an early exit from Saturday's game after suffering an apparent ankle injury that resulted in him going back to the locker room. Fortunately, he was able to return, but he did not make a major impact on the outcome Saturday as he finished with just two points and did not attempt a field goal. Depending how his ankle responds in the coming days, Goins should be available for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.
