Michigan State's Kenny Goins: Records goose egg against Wichita State
Goins had just one rebound, and did not score in 15 minutes of action during Friday's win over Wichita State.
Analysis:
Goins has produced several goose eggs this season. He's averaging 2.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 20 minutes per game. Despite this increased role minutes-wise, Goins isn't a great scoring option for the Spartans. If he continues down this path, coach Tom Izzo may promote freshman Nick Ward to start over him, who is providing the team with 10.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in 16 minutes per game.
