Michigan State's Miles Bridges: Versatility coming to light

Bridges could play up to three positions for Michigan State in 2016-17 according to head coach Tom Izzo, Michael DeCourcy of the Big Ten Network reports

Analysis:

Bridges is the only recruit in the entire Big Ten conference that lands in ESPN's top-10 of the class, and is the No. 3-ranked small forward on the list. The 6-7 wing had offers on the table from Indiana and Kentucky, but ultimately chose to join Tom Izzo's squad to help fill the void left by the departure of Denzel Valentine. Both Eron Harris and Tum Tum Nairn are expected to be staples in the Michigan State backcourt, but Bridges should start at the three-spot, and will see heavy minutes both in the frontcourt, and in relief of Harris. Expect big things from the freshman, who should warrant first-round consideration in Big Ten-only formats.
