Life as a member of Kansas' basketball team can be pretty sweet, especially when you get to spend your free time hanging out in a $12-million dormitory.

McCarthy Hall, which opened last year, contains indoor basketball courts, an immaculate kitchen, pool and ping pong tables, a rooftop patio, media theater, and even its own barbershop. The bedrooms and bathrooms were specifically designed to service the larger-than-average basketball players.

Jayhawks Devonte' Graham and Landen Lucas gave the The Kansas City Star a tour of the facility that showed off the digs and illustrated how Kansas can use the hall as a recruiting tool.

The dorm was funded using private donations and is home to not only the men's basketball team, but 17 very lucky Kansas students not affiliated with the program.
