Florida's John Egbunu cleared for basketball activities

Florida center John Egbunu was cleared to participate in all basketball-related activities on Monday after suffering a thumb injury last season, head coach Mike White told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Egbunu's injury stems from the torn ligament he suffered from in the third-to-last game of the 2015-16 regular season, and with the center now slightly ahead of schedule, he should be on the fast track to owning Florida's frontcourt and being one of the better big men in the SEC this coming season.
