Report: Minnesota transfer Buggs joining USC
Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports
Former Minnesota forward Charles Buggs is transferring to USC, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports, citing a source.
The junior announced he would be leaving the Gophers late in May, following a season that saw him post 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Buggs should give the Trojans some solid depth after enduring a disappointing 8-23 campaign last year in Minnesota. The Gophers lost 18 of their final 20 games, but Buggs averaged 12 points per game in his final two contests.
As a graduate transfer, Buggs will be immediately eligible for USC.
