Syracuse's Trevor Cooney pushing for athletic director position

Mark Coyle stunned Syracuse this week when he left as athletic director to take the same role at Minnesota.

It appears one person is very interested in the now-vacant role: former Orange basketball player Trevor Cooney.

Cooney took to Twitter to let it be known he's ready if the call comes his way:

Cooney just wrapped up his final season with the Orange, averaging 12.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and a trip to the Final Four.
