For the second time in a month, Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski has undergone successful surgery.

The 69-year-old, who had knee replacement surgery a few weeks ago, underwent inguinal hernia repair surgery Monday at Duke University Medical Center. With a typical recovery time of four weeks, the head coach of the USA Men's Olympic basketball team should be ready in plenty of time for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

"I'd like to thank everyone at Duke University Hospital who made this procedure as smooth as possible," Krzyzewski said in a statement Monday. "With this surgery behind me, I'll be in great physical condition heading into the Olympics and I'm excited for the opportunities that lie ahead."

Krzyzewski becomes the second member of the Duke program to undergo inguinal hernia surgery this offseason, as star guard Grayson Allen had the same procedure on April 22nd.
