Texas A&M lands Lipscomb top scorer J.C. Hampton on transfer
Jim Brown / USA TODAY Sports
Fresh off a standout campaign at Lipscomb, scoring guard J.C. Hampton will transfer to Texas A&M, he told Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
As a graduate transfer, Hampton will be eligible to suit up for Billy Kennedy's program immediately. Hampton averaged a team-high 15.9 points per game for the Bisons last season.
His addition should help offset some of the losses from the Aggies' roster, including graduating guards Danuel House, Jalen Jones, and Alex Caruso.
