Butler is adding some depth to its frontcourt.

Former Memphis guard Avery Woodson told ESPN's Jeff Goodman he'll be transferring to the Bulldogs. Woodson averaged nearly 10 points per game last season and shot 43 percent from 3-point range.

Although he's just a sophomore, Woodson is a graduate transfer who'll be eligible immediately for Butler.

With the addition of Woodson, the Bulldogs should be poised to earn another NCAA tournament berth.
